Girls only..........!!!!?

ok so i've tried wearing a tampon a couple times and the first time, i bleed all over myself and the second time it hurt really bad. and it was so uncomfortable, expecially when i sat down on a hard surface..... i have been using pads ever since, but i was just wondering if thats normal, or should i be woried??
