Is the severity/ vulgarity of tourettes related to raising/ home atmosphere?

If a person was not exposed to bad language or vulgar statements would the severity of the disease be as bad? I am just wondering what a person that does not hear bad things says if they have tourettes. I know that not all sufferers use bad language, just tics. I was just curious. Any thoughts?
