How do I get the Lumber Yard key in Silent Hill Origins for PSP?

I'm trying to go to where the nurse is, the Cedar Grove Sanitarium. But all the roads are blocked off and I think i have to go through the lumber yard. But i need to know where the key is. SOMEONE HELP!
