Gap year after university application rejection?

UCs only accept freshman applications in the Fall, so if you are not accepted you will have to wait until the following Fall. You may take a gap year and do something meaningful (UCs will want you to discuss why you took a gap year and what you did during that time). Remember that you cannot take any college cles during the gap year; post secondary academic work will render you ineligible for freshman admission. Each application cycle is evaluated independently; your previous application is not considered.
