Is it illegal to insult a mall cop?

I just got kicked out of the mall the other day because of the mall's stupid curfew policy and I was wondering if it is legally allowed for me to have called him a fat retarded failure that probably flunked high school and tried to become a cop but even failed at that so he had to become a mall cop and take out his inner hatred on teenagers so he feels less bad about being an epic fail son of a *****.
