Bit vs. Bit-less .. HELP!?

I know appsalutly nothing but you need to make sure you can ride in halter, lead rope if your going to use a bitless bridle due to the fact that i feel you have less controll w/o a bridle. but i mean i would talk to an instructor w/ knowledge..
